New York City-based singer, songwriter, and producer Claire Hawkins is set to release a new music video for her song “Reckless.” The song was released on her debut EP Even These Words, which came out last year. The music video is a home-grown Tisch School of the Arts work: Hawkins met dancer Megan Paradowski in a freshman year writing class for art students at NYU. Paradowski then introduced Hawkins to filmmaker Tisch alumnus Carlos Enrique Tejera, aka Carluccio, and the project was underway. Filmed just before Hawkins moved to Europe for nine months, the video pays homage to her New York City roots. Paradowski’s contemporary choreography and Carluccio’s direction of cinematography work together with Hawkins’ narrative songwriting to create a visual that tells a unique story.
